This is a fun activity ball for your child :) it can be used to help your child learn the alphabet, teach them numbers and colours and also to spell words. You could also use it for animal recognition and the sounds that the animals make (I will leave the sounds up to you - the ball doesn’t make any noise, lol. It can also be used as a ball, to play catch, learn how to roll a ball and even learn how to kick :) This ball has all sorts of uses, the only limits are your imagination <3

All of the appliqué patterns are included in this pattern, no need to purchase them separately :)

If you use worsted weight yarn the ball should measure 8” tall and be 26” around. If you decide to use a thinner yarn, make sure you use the same size yarn throughout the whole project to make it work properly

You will need the following to complete your project:
Red Heart Super saver: tea leaf green (90 grams) I used this colour for the pentagons, but feel free to use any colour you wish - my testers used all sorts of colours and the ball still turned out gorgeous
Red heart super saver: off white (I used this colour to attach the pentagons)
polyester stuffing
6 pairs of 12 mm safety eyes
5 safety noses (15 mm)
4 mm crochet hook
tapestry needle
stitch marker
various colours of worsted weight yarn: for the numbers, letters and animal appliques (would be a good time to use up some scraps)
Lots of imagination :) let it run wild

This would be considered an intermediate project and you should already have knowledge of working in the round and sewing (as you will need to sew some pieces together)

This pattern is 25 pages in length and contains detailed instructions and photos to help you along the way. I am always available by email if you should have any questions :)

This pattern is written using standard US crochet terms

The usual copyright conditions apply :) and yes you can sell your finished product :)

Thanks for stopping by and happy hooking :)
