These cosy jackets are easy to knit and I have included some options. It’s very versatile.

You can make it with or without a hood, with or without pockets. There are instructions for using a zip instead of front bands.You can use the sweet mock cable down the fronts or on the sleeves or just plain.

The pockets are knitted in by a unique method and only the edge is seamed to the edge of the mock cable or front band. The pocket edging can be in mock cable st or rib.

The yarn I used for the navy blue one is chenille.

The cream jacket is aran/bulky yarn.
