Chocolate Stout is another collaboration with the Plucky Knitter - a new take on the Grandpa Sweater. This time it’s a comfy cardigan with a distinct allover texture. It features a deep ribbing with worked in pockets that add to the vintage feel of the sweater. Waist shaping, a little unexpected detail under the arms, and a cozy but flattering modified drop shoulder have been added to the silhouette to make it more modern.

And the Rustic in a deep rich brown with - hints of purple running through it - is gorgeous and sophisticated. The aran weight 100% wool suits the stitch pattern perfectly -- it’s a workhorse sweater yarn with a roundness and coziness that knits up to create a distinct cable or rib. Plus, the subtle handdyed colors accent the allover texture of the cable motif perfectly.
