Brr! It’s a tad chilly out there. Stay in the warm and knit up this beauty! :)

I have written the full instructions out as, although there are repeats of the pattern, I find it easier to have it all written down so I can just tick if off as I go. As long as you can knit, slip, pass the slipped stitch over and yarn over you are good to go!

This pattern creates diagonal stripes of lacey fabric with solid stripes of garter stitch. Gauge isn’t important, just make sure that the garter stitch isn’t too open. You should get a scarf approx. 90” long.

I used a 75% acrylic to 25% wool blend yarn which means it’s lovely and soft and warm, but you can still pop it in the washing machine on a 30 C wash.

Blocking isn’t strictly necessary with this, but if you chose to it will stop the slight curl on the lacey edges.

Happy knitting,

Kx
