This beautiful stole was inspired by the design of a leaded glass window. The delicate tracery is worked in twisted stitches and the glass areas are worked in various, open lace patterns. This reproduces elegant airiness of the glass work.

Skill level - experienced.
The gauge for the lace areas and twisted stitches are very different, requiring frequent changes in number of stitches per row. Lots of stitch markers are recommended. They are placed on the edges of the tracery and have to be moved often.
