I have written this pattern for both sport and worsted weight yarn. Please make sure to check your gauge as I tend to be a loose knitter. You should have plenty of yarn left and may even be able to make another cowl in the opposite colors depending on your gauge and yardage.

For Sport Wright Yarn
2skeins of sport weight yarn approximately 159yds each in contrasting colors. Brown and Grey Sample knit in The Fibre Co Road to China in colors Grey Pearl and Smokey Quartz
Size 4 needle or size to obtain gauge
Gauge 22sts x 36rows = 4” in stockinette
Finished size 9”x24” blocked

For Worsted Weight Yarn
2skeins of worsted weight yarn approximately 236yds each in contrasting colors. Grey and Gold Sample knit in The Fibre Co Cumbria in colors Hadrian’s Wall and Buttermere
Size 6 needle or size to obtain gauge
Gauge 20sts x 28rows = 4” in stockinette
Finished Size 11”x24” blocked
