This pattern was inspired by the who for which it’s named -- Little Cindy Lou Who. I wanted to knit up a spiral striped hat without using stranded colorwork (which can be intimidating and leaves a mess of ‘float’ yarn on the inside of the hat). As you work the pattern, you will see that the technique used in this pattern creates a spiral that is similar to an applied i-cord.
