A quick and easy cowl that combines basic knit and purl stitches to create a fun illusion of circles! This is great for beginner knitters and experienced as well.

Gauge: 14 stitches and 20 rows per 4 inches in stockinette the round (although gauge is not terribly important for this pattern)

Finished dimensions: Roughly 10 inches high and 38 inches around (it also has a lot of stretch to it).

Materials:

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (140 grams) (other weights could be substituted - adjust the needle size and number of cast on stitches accordingly)

Needles and Notions:

  • 5mm (US size 8) circular needle or size necessary to achieve gauge
  • Tapestry (darning) needle
