This is a “concept” pattern. You can use whatever yarns you want, recommending yarns for a 10 or 10 1/2 needle. Gauge is not critical. The pattern tells you how to make the shape, guidelines how to make it to fit you and how to make the sleeves. It can be worn as a coat or jacket.
