Directions
The cardigan is knitted top down, either as model A: In the round and cut up in front or model B: Back and forth.
Cast on using a temporary crochet edge, so the size of
the neckline can be adjusted subsequently. Short rows
are worked across the shoulder and the neckline at the beginning, to give a higher neckline. The yoke is worked with increases in raglan. Hereafter the work is divided and sleeves and body are worked separately. The sleeves are worked in the round. In Model A pick up and knit stitches, cut up and knit the front edges. On both models unravel the temporary casting on up and knit the neck edge with buttonholes.
