This is a fun and adorable crochet pattern for a Classic style childrens sweater. It is sure to become a favorite! It is crocheted in one piece from the top down with the sleeves and collar added after the body is crocheted. Features a ribbed collar, and sleeves that are stretchy (knit like). It is designed to be a pullover sweater. The pattern includes instructions for short sleeves, but you could easily crochet long sleeves by adding rows.

This pattern includes 10 different sizes so that you can make any childrens size: Newborn, 6 months, 12 months, 2T, 3T, 4T, 5T, 6/7, 8, and 10/12. Each size is written out seperately to make it much easier to understand. It does include a few pictures so that you can see what your sweater should look like. In the pictures, I am making the newborn size, so keep in mind that if you are making a larger size yours will be a lot bigger with more stitches and rnds. This sweater is designed to be a ‘fitting sweater’, so if you would like a more loose sweater, you can crochet one size up.

The gauge is included in the pattern as well as instructions to crochet a small square to measure. Save time, check your gauge so that your sweater will turn out the right size Also included is a size chart which includes the finished chest measurement, and the finished length of each size.

You will need DK (light worsted weight) number 3 yarn, an F/5-3.75MM hook (or hook needed to obtain gauge), and a sharp needle to weave in your loose ends.

This crochet pattern has been tested by 10 different crocheters. Please let me know if you have any questions!
