The revised pattern includes both a written-pattern along with a mosaic knitting chart and description for knitting from this chart.

Mosaic knitting involves alternating strands of yarn; just one strand is used for two rows at a time. Garter and slipped stitches define the background and motif areas.

The pattern has been tested with Worsted/Aran weight 100% cotton yarn using size 7 needles and DK weight 100% hemp yarn using size 5 needles. See individual projects for more details.
