I designed this hat based on my ice cream boarder which I love. My daughter wanted a lighter weight version with a looser feel. This is made using Lion Brand Tweed Stripes, but any similar yarn (heavy worsted or lighter weight bulky) will be great. I have also used worsted weight yarn (held single strand) and it was adorable, just slightly smaller.
This hat will also be available Jan 2013 ready made with a snappy label. Watch for more info to come.
