Both yarns were spun from 4 oz. Clun Forest fiber combined with 0.4 oz. of Heather bombyx brick from Chasing Rainbow Dyeworks (90% wool/10% bombyx silk.

Size 8 and 7 needles are for the hat and size 4 needles are for the mittens. The size E crochet hook is for the provisional cast-on.

Mitten gauge is 5 stitches and 9 rows to 1 inch in stockinette.
