This is a simple & easily crocheted cowl with a stunning outcome.

The changing colours are the hero of this cowl, achieved by striping solid colours or by using a variegated yarn. The fabric created is reminiscent of Chanel houndstooth so it seemed only fitting to name the pattern Coco.

The pattern is designed for the beginner crocheter and incorporates some different techniques for starting a chain, joining in the round, and for finishing.

You can select from three different versions but it is easily adapted for different weight yarns and different sized cowls.

The finished cowl is essentially reversible, with no ‘wrong-side’, and with the luxurious Road To China Light you end up with a super soft, snuggly and drapey cowl or if you are after a show stopping, more structured accessory, choose the third version and a ball of crazy Noro Taiyo.
