Do you find yourself in the Fire Swamp of last minute crafting? Maybe due to procrastination or an innate ability to have a perpetual positive outlook on your ability to bend the space time continuum?
Fret not, Procrasti Nation: Quick projects for the last minute crafter, a collection of patterns that can help you out of that sticky situation of needing a last minute hand made gift. Something cozy and warm, stylish and modern, infinitely wearable and lightning fast to knit up!

Cold Snap is the hat you will reach for again and again. Warm, big and cozy, perfect for the unexpected cold snap, or a stroll in the mountains on a cool fall day, or in summer high up on a glacier, when the wind turns.

The earflaps are worked first, then the hat is joined in the round and worked up to the crown. Lastly you will attach the ties and simply braid them, no I-cord, no fuss!

Cold Snap is a cozy chullo style hat with a simple slip stitch design. When you need something knit up quick because winter is coming, for real; or if you feel like you need to just encase yourself with wool and live in your own personal cocoon for a while (like me), or perhaps you have altruistic leanings and need a cozy gift, last minute of course!

Cold Snap is your answer, for even with the cold coming, there is time enough: big cozy yarn, big needles and you’re back in business!
