The Colo River runs around the base of the Blue Mountains in Australia, flowing to empty into the Pacific ocean. The stitch pattern, as well as the colour of the yarn used for this scarf remind me of the days I spent as a young girl, floating along the river with my family on an old water bed.

The scarf starts with a provisional cast on, and features a nupp and lace border.
