In the northern hemisphere, we are in real winter. Shawls need to be smaller and able to fit under layers of sweaters, coats, etc.

This is a very simple pattern that you will learn very quickly. The repeats and decreases are a guide…if you get to a point and it is not exactly that number, stop to see how it looks. If it looks OK, continue and correct the number of stitches through an increase or decrease. Ripping out rots your enthusiasm so do it as little as possible :)

This is an easy shawlette/frill to wear. People will stop you on the street to ask about it….enjoy. And, this will adapt to any weight yarn so experiment away in your stash.
