Constant Baby Blanket

With babies arriving on a regular basis in my circle of friends, I wanted to have a simple “go to” item to knit up for gifts. Something that I could work on when I had just a bit of time to knit, a pattern that I wouldn’t get lost in if I had been away too long, yet a piece that wouldn’t get too dull or appear overly simple in the end. And so, the Constant Baby Blanket was born.
This is one of those projects that can be put down and picked back up with ease, and can provide the easy, mindless knitting “fix” that I crave at the end of the day. I think I’m just going to keep one on my needles at all times.
Note: I purchased seven skeins, in five colors, because of the striping.
Finished size: 40”x40”
