The cool cactus cap was created at the height of the techno hair trend. Pull it out of the stash and hold with either doubled medium or doubled bulky, and voilà! What was old is new.

Materials shown above are for super bulky gauge version (2 strands of bulky held double) of hat. Instructions are also given for working at a bulky gauge (2 strands of worsted held double). Whatever you choose for the main yarn, add in the Techno Hair for the top!

Yarn:
220 yds 202 m #4 medium wt OR 185 yds 170m #5 bulky wt for A
98 yds 90m #3 light weight fur for B

Stitch markers, yarn needle

US 13 9.0mm OR US 15 10.0 mm 16˝40 cm circular needle and double-pointed needles or size needed to get gauge!

Gauge:
10 sts and 12 rows OR 8 sts and 10 rows = 4˝ 10 cm in stockinette st with 2 strands A & 1 strand B held together
