Named for the stitch pattern covering the sweater, Costolla rotta is literally broken rib in Italian (the anatomical version, rather than the knitting stitch).
This is the ultimate cosy ribbed sweater with a chunky cowl to keep you warm through the winter months. The body of the sweater is worked in aran weight yarn, the perfect choice for a snug sweater and fast knitting. The cowl is worked in a bulky yarn; it would be ideal for using 100g of bulky handspun or that skein you had to have but now can’t decide what to do with!

Bust measurement: 3032, 34, 36, 38, 40, 4244, 46, 48, 50, 52]54, 56, 58, 60, 62, 64 inches; shown in size 34.
Choose the size to make based on your bust measurement. The pattern is worked with an 8% ease on the bust measurement, however the nature of the ribbing draws the fabric in to gently hug the body.
