Crab Mittens Crochet Pattern, Buttoned Cuff, PDF Instant Digital Download Cuffed Cuff Buttons Mitts Easy

These mittens are worked up differently than any mittens that you’re used to. They are made in two separate parts and stitched together using the Crab Stitch (or reverse single crochet). The cuff is added in short ribbed rows, extending out to add extra length for a wrap-a-round effect. Buttons are sewn on for the finishing touch! Clean and sophisticated!

CROCHET PATTERN

Materials:
Worsted Weight Medium (4); Red Heart Super Saver; 7 oz/198 g; 364 yds/333m
Crochet hook size 4.0mm/G
Four-23mm buttons

Sizes: Small, Medium, and Large

Measurements: Length from wrist to tips of fingers; Small=8 inches; Medium=8.5 inches, Large=9 inches
Width of palm; Small=3.5 inches, Medium=3.5 inches, Large=4 inches

Gauge: 16sc and 16 rows = 4 inches square

Abbreviations Used: Rnd=Round, St(s)=Stitch(es), Ch=Chain, Sc=Single Crochet, Sl St=Slip Stitch, Sc2tog=single crochet the next 2 stitches together, Rsc (Crab St)=Reverse Single Crochet
