I’m so happy to introduce you to Crilly! Crilly is your staple knitted hat. Crisp cables on a background of reverse stockinette create a super wearable, super satisfying knit. Made in Quince & Co’s Lark it works up really quickly and makes a lovely, stretchy fabric that gives you the perfect fit.

The construction is pretty simple and the pattern contains both written and charted instructions. It begins with 2x2 ribbed folded brim. The cables are then worked all up the body and come together at the brim with carefully placed decreases.

Crilly is designed with a shorter depth than normal but it is really easy to adjust this if you prefer a deeper hat. It’s even marked in the pattern where to add the extra chart repeats! If you do plan to do this just be aware you will need more yardage than the pattern suggests.

Thank you and happy knitting!
