Polyband (curling ribbon) is perfect for very stiff projects, like bags, boxes, coasters etc. Can be bought in small amounts in any store that sells giftwrapping-material and in large bobbins in wholesale-stores. It is very cheap and you can make quite a few projects out of a single bobbin.
