This is a .pdf crochet pattern, written in standard American crochet terms for Flam the fox. With this very easy pattern, you can make a super cute and playful fox doll.

Size
Size of finished fox made with worsted weight yarn: 5.6 inch / 14,5 cm when sitting.

The crochet pattern contains
An intro with useful info. List of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right. All my patterns are text edited for correct English and have been tested by an experienced crocheter before publishing.

Materials
For this fox you need worsted weight yarn and an E US/ 3.5 mm crochet hook. You need three colours of yarn, orange (3/4 of a 100 yard skein), brown (1/5) and white (1/4), and some colours for the scarf. The quantities are estimates. For the eyes I’ve used 8 mm animal eyes. Flam has a needle felted nose. You can also use an animal nose or crochet one. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). A pipe cleaner is optional for the tail. Lopi colour numbers: 1410 (1704), 0867 and 0051.

Yarn
Istex Lett lopi. I strongly recommend using a fuzzy yarn because it gives the best result.

Gauge is unimportant for this pattern. If the pieces are crocheted tightly enough, they will not gape visibly when stuffed. You can make a little test swap to be sure.
