This pattern was my attempt at making a “mesh” style headband similar to the stretchy ones I see all the time with giant flowers clipped to them - It may also be known as “Mesh Headband My Way”

This pattern uses an elastic hair tie to make it stretchy for cotton yarn.

However this headband can be made without the hair elastic

Simply join the ends together with a slip stitch or single crochet seam

This headband makes a nice little lightweight headband so I hope if you try it you’ll like it : )
