Yarn and hook: For the patterns of this tutorial I used a fine cotton thread / crochet yarn (less than 10 grams) and 1.9 mm (B1-E4) hook. You should consult the label of your yarn/thread. It always gives information about recommended hook sizes. You will also need an embroidery needle for weaving the ends.
