How to crochet a shawl using scrap yarn
Put those odds and ends to use with this pattern recipe/tutorial for creating a simple triangle shawl. Use assorted scrap yarns (shown in sport & DK weight cottons and cotton blends)

Errata
Row 3: Ch 1, 2 hdc in 1st st, hdc in next 5 sts, 2 hdc in next st with stitch marker, replace marker on last st made, 2 hdc in next st with marker, replace marker on first st made, hdc in next 5 sts, 2 hdc in last st -- 18 hdc.

Row 4: Ch 1, 2 hdc in first st, hdc in each st to marker, 2 hdc in next st with stitch marker, replace marker on last st made, 2 hdc in next st with stitch marker and replace marker on first stitch made, hdc in each st to last st, 2 hdc in last st -- 4 sts inc’d.
