CROCHET SOLES ANY SIZE CUSTOMIZED
Any-size sole-method, for any foot-shape, yarn, and gauge!
Infant- to giant-feet!
This is the method I use for crochet soles on all my one-piece slippers.
The method is based on a copy of your foot, (or someone else’s), or on available standard foot-sizes.
The soles protect the slippers, make them warmer, sturdier, and extend their life-time.
GREAT NEWS FOR STANDARD FOOT-SIZES:
Included in this pattern is now instructions for 4 different sole-sizes.
Full stitch-diagram for each size, with actual-size foot- templates in the background.
YOU HAVE TWO CHOICES:
Work your soles according to the Any-size sole-method, or choose one of the standard sizes with instructions.
NOTE: Now you can purchase a pattern for the 4 standard-sizes only! Out-Soles for Slippers
- Use the crochet-soles as out- and/or insoles.
- For heavier and sturdier out-soles, work two soles together into one sole!
- Work crochet-slippers on top of the sole-edge, or sole-border.
- Insert handmade insoles, apply treatment to the soles, and you have turned your slippers into shoes for street-wear!
For street-wear I mostly use the heavier Cord-Sole method
But as you’ll see, also crochet soles can be worn on the street!
