This is such a fun hat to make and wear. You can use this hat for costumes and dress-up. I think this would be adorable for a newborn photo prop, you might even try using this hat for a special occasion…a cheaper, but more fun version of a real top hat.
I first make this hat for my daughter for a fun birthday hat and it turned out so cute that I thought I might offer the pattern to you (:

Note: The brim of the hat needs to be smoothed by hand every time it is worn. please note that Because the brim of this hat is crocheted fabric it will not be as stiff and perfect as a real top hat.
