Designed to fit snuggly over the shoulders and upper arms, this little cape is small enough to fit into your handbag ready to be popped on when it gets chilly. Using a yarn containing sequins gives extra bling, but the cape works equally well in plainer yarns.

Materials
200 (200, 200, 300, 300, 400, 400) g / 430 (430, 430, 645, 645, 860, 860) m / 478 (478, 478, 717, 717, 956, 956) yds DK yarn
Pair 3.5mm (US 4) needles or size to achieve tension
Pair 4mm (US 6) or size to achieve tension
4 stitch markers
4 stitch holders or lengths of yarn
Cable needle
Small hook and eye (optional)

Note on Yarn
I used James C Brett Aria DK; 68% acrylic, 9% mohair, 9% wool, 10% polyester, 4% payette; 215m/239yd per 100g. Other suitable yarns include King Cole Glitz DK, Louisa Harding Grace Hand Beaded, and Rowan Kidsilk Haze Glamour. Other DK yarns can be used but they may require a larger weight of yarn.
