Crochet these snuggly warm mittens with a ribbed double cuff and textured stitch pattern.

I have used Aran (US Worsted) weight acrylic yarn for my mittens. You can use any worsted/aran weight yarn you prefer.

The mittens are designed to fit a standard ladies size (7-8” hand circumference). The main mitten measures approximately 4” wide and 7.5” long, plus 2” for the cuff.

Each mitten uses approximately 16g/25m/28yds of yarn for the cuff, and 42g/66m/72yds for the main mitten.

Gauge:
2” square = 9 hdc x 5 rows for the cuff,
4 SPsc + ch1 sts x 9 rows for the main stitch.
I have used a 5mm hook for the cuff, and a 5.5mm hook for the main mitten.

You will need:
Aran/Worsted weight yarn in your choice of colours - Approx. 84g/132m/144yds of your main colour, and 32g/50m/56yds of your cuff colour per pair.
5mm & 5.5mm hooks, or sizes to achieve gauge.
Yarn needle, and scissors.
