Daily Vanilla
Elegant top with clever construction: lace triangles on front and back create dolman-like over the shoulders-look.
The garment is worked from bottom up. The body is worked in the round to the armpit and then front and back are worked separately, creating wide armholes. Shoulders are joined using Three-Needle bind off, no seaming needed!
FINISHED SIZES
32 (34 ¼, 35 ¾, 38, 40 ½, 42, 44 ¼, 45 ¾, 48, 50 ¼)” / 81 (87, 91, 97, 103, 106, 112, 116, 122, 128) cm bust circumference.
The garment is designed to be worn with approx. 2” / 5 cm of positive ease. Please choose a size that is 2” / 5 cm larger than your actual bust circumference. Sample is knit in size 34 ¼” / 87 cm.
YARN
Approx. 700 (750, 800, 875, 950, 1000, 1050, 1100, 1175, 1250) yds / 640 (685, 730, 800, 870, 915, 960, 1005, 1075, 1145) m of fingering weight yarn.
The sample is made using Drops Fabel unicolour in #100; 224 yds / 205 m per 50 g skein; 75 % superwash wool, 25 % polyamid.
NEEDLES & NOTIONS
Size 6 US / 4 mm circular needle, 32” / 80 cm long
a couple of spare needles in the same size
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

GAUGE
21 sts and 30 rows in Stockinette stitch = 4” / 10 cm
The gauge is measured from wetblocked and slightly stretched swatch (a bit of stretching makes the fabric light and drapey).
