If you’re looking for an unusual and useful table decoration this little dish will certainly fit the bill. It’s knitted on two needles, and after machine-felting the whole thing is shaped inside a pie dish and left to dry. The simple styling is enhanced by optional beads.

The dish uses 150gr of 100% wool DK yarn , combined with 100gr of wool-rich mohair. There is lots of scope for personalisation - you could knit stripes, use self-patterning yarns or make the petals in a different colour to the base. However you choose to make your dish it is sure to attract a lot of compliments!
