A doctor working there, in the poorest country in the world, restores sight for hundreds of people. The shawl is available in one size (medium)
Width, tip to tip: 63 inches after blocking;
Depth: 27 inches after blocking
Materials
Inner Yarn Zen: The 600 80 % merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon; 600yd (549 m)/5.29 oz (150 g) skein; gradient color: Pismus Star Cluster, 1 skein
US 3 /3.25 mm circular or straight knitting needles
Coilless safety Pin, Stitch Markers, Tapestry Needle, T-pins, Flexible Blocking Wires (optional)
Gauge
17 sts/32 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch after blocking. Every knitter’s gauge is different; please check gauge! Exact gauge is not important. However, a looser gauge will result in the use of more yardage.
