This crescent shaped scarf or shawlette is trimmed with a pretty lace edging reminiscent of spring blooms. Knit in a soft, warm wool it will keep the chill off your neck without too much bulk to your winter ensemble yet is light enough to keep on while indoors. The stitch pattern compliments the beauty of the hand-dyed yarn perfectly, without competing with the subtle color shifts. Even though this pattern calls for a fingering weight yarn, a sport or light DK would work equally well to produce a larger, more substantial scarf.

NOTE: First version of this pattern contained a typographical error. You should case on 22 stitches, not 24.
