Here’s the toe-up version of the socks with princess feet--the toe, sole of the foot and bottom of the heel are all in reverse stockinette stitch. The smooth knit side of the stockinette faces inside against the sole of the foot for a more comfortable sock. The trick is that the foot is knit inside out. No additional purling is needed.
This toe-up version includes a boomerang heel. It’s the same heel as in the Burning Stripes sock pattern, without the colorwork. The leg and instep are ribbed for a stretchy, comfy fit.
There is a cuff-down version as well as a combined pattern that includes both toe-up and cuff-down versions at a lower price than purchasing the two versions separately.
