This pattern is available for C$3.00.

Declan Dragonfly pattern creates a very special toy. The crocheted fabric is both textured and durable. The head of the dragonfly is sized to snugly fit a 1.5” diameter rattle insert. When stuffed with polyester fibrefill, it is very light for small hands.

This piece is worked in 5 pieces: head & body, and the four wings. This toy is crocheted “in the round” and in a continuous spiral. A stitch marker, such as a piece of contrasting yarn placed at either the beginning or the end of the round can help keep track of round in the spiral. The round stitch count (number of stitches in the round) is given in brackets at the end of most rounds.. Stuff as you go. Finish this toy by sewing the wings on the body and embroidering the eyes.
