Lovely, feminine shawl with generous sizing, perfect for any occasion. Made from Misti Alpaca’s soft and sumptuous “Tonos Carnavale”. I chose the color “Sky Light” so the heavily beaded, lacy pattern, reminiscent of the “Deco” years, will show in its full glory.

The pattern includes written directions for ruffle and charted directions for the lace and beaded body of the shawl. You will need 2892 size 6/0 Miyuki glass seed beads and a size 13/14 steel crochet hook. While beaded slows down knitting speed, it’s totally worth it!

If you prefer not to add beads, simply knit the stitch that should have been beaded.

You can substitute another fingering weight, just be aware, that dark colors and multi colored mosaic yarns will not show pattern as well.
