Use this pattern to create a clever slip-stitch pattern which will let you combine two different yarns to fabulous effect. This fun cowl uses two dramatically different DK yarns and an easy slipped-stitch motif to generate a striking geometric pattern for a cozy accessory. Knit up the small size for a close-fitting neck warmer, or the long version for a scarf that can be wrapped several times against harsh winter winds.

This new version of the pattern includes the small size, originally published in Knit Now Issue 23, and a larger version for extra cozy warmth.
