This is a pattern for a Denim Shirt, originally published in Knitting Magazine in the Barn Dance theme issue. It is in stocking stitch fitted at the waist, pointed at the front hem, with a collar and pocket flaps. It has a yoke and vertical line in garter stitch, and has contrast stitching in the style of jeans and denim jackets. Actual bust; 37 1/2 - 52 1/4 ins. Length: 21 1/4 - 23 1/2 ins. You will need: 20(21:22:23:24:25:26) x 50g balls of yarn, 1 x ball for the contrast stitching, and 12 buttons. The yarn has been discontinued. Rowan Original Denim DK can be used, it has the same tension and same effects when washing.
