Design 6 - Child's Hat and Mittens
Hat has 2.75” of ribbing, then the rest is done in stocking (stockinette) stitch. The pattern is written to knit this flat, then seam it up. (Someone else said they did it in the round; see finished projects for details.)
Mittens have a ribbed cuff, and are seamed across the top of the hand, and down the side. A twisted cord joins the mittens.
