DEW DROPS & SUNBEAMS WRAP

The Concept:
Imagine wandering through your early morning garden, brushing your hands with the dew drops while the sunbeams touch your face and hair.
You’ll keep that feeling alive, your shoulders warm and beautifully adorned, with this stunningly beautiful shawl that you’ve lovingly created. Sections of “Dew Drops” and sections of “Sunbeams” show off both your skill and the sumptuous yarn.

The Yarn:
The supremely talented Sally Ridgway has designed a 4-skein fade called “Garden Bouquet” for creating this shawl. The colours bring to mind flowers that are found in gardens all over Australia: Hydrangea, Pansy, Rose Petal Pink and Hellebore.
You can also design your own 4-colour fade, like I did with the blue version (Midnight Blue, Royal Blues, Sea Grass and Baby Blue) in Sally’s 4 Ply Pure Australian Merino

Features:
This shawl features repeatable panels designed to gently fade between the colours. Panels of “Dew Drops” are followed by panels of “Sun Beams”, all the while keeping a self-edge running up each side.

  • 1200m/1400yd 4ply/fingering/sock yarn
