This is a diamond shaped shawl, knitted point to point across the width, with the length of the shawl being set by the longest row.

The pattern features a central lace diamond surrounded by stocking stitch, this can be altered as you wish.

This pattern is given by charts, and a written order of how to work.

The structure of the shawl has a 10 row motif, and a small border

The yarn I have used is Yealand Manor Yarn, lace weight, a single ply with 576m per 100g, the sample shawls used 86g.

Yarn percentages are given at key points in the pattern, allowing you to change the size of the shawl to suit the amount of yarn that you have.

For a gauge I have given a chart to knit one diamond with the border, so you can see how the pattern and yarn will work.
