This interesting double YO lace pattern can be used to make a dramatic long skinny scarf (pictured here) , or change the cast on to make a wide shawl. Just keep the cast on in a multiple of 4.

NOTE: When slipping a stitch, always slip the stitch knitwise.
Decreases worked in Rows 2 and 4 are not the same; be sure to work the decreases correctly for each row.
