Down The River is a crocheted top worked sideways in one piece, then seamed (or joined as-you-go in the last row).

The textured stitch pattern is very elastic. It gently stretches at the bust and hips, while following your curves at the waist, giving the top an excellent fit even with no decreases made.

The main part of the top and the bottom ribbing are worked at the same time. The top edging and the straps are added after finishing the main part.
