I was looking for a good solution to keep my dreadlock babies in check during this summer. I wanted something cute and handmade. I had a clear vision of what it needed to be, but could not find a pattern to work for me, so I came up with my own. ;)
This pattern only uses a tiny bit of yarn. So it’s great to use up the leftovers we all have laying around. (if you use other yarn than fixation, you may want to check the length you have to make the finished headband, since it might not stretch quite as much as the fixation does.)

Cute headband to wrangle and tame your dreadlocks (should you have them) if not it will keep your hair in check just as well.
This headband comes in two sizes. One size goes around your head twice, the other one only once. You can also decide, if you want to tie, or button it.

The gauge is actually one repeat of the chart = 4.5 x 5.5 inches unstretched.
