There is really nothing like frolicking through a field in a pretty poofy dress! With this pattern, I wanted to capture the cozy feeling of a cottagecore dress, that didn’t cover up too much of the details of the knit frog we worked so hard for!

I think this pattern is so versatile, and can be edited in so many small ways to fit the personality of the frog you have made. You can extend the sleeves, make the skirt and bodice different colors, add embroidery, etc.

This pattern is knit in the round, using the magic circle method. You may also choose to knit this on DPNs, but I find them harder to work with for such a small circumference.

I find that knitting in the round is much faster for me than knitting flat, and seaming up. If you notice that your purls seem to take more time than your knits, you might feel the same way!
