Dripstones Cowl is a seamless unisex cowl/neckwarmer worked from bottom to top. It starts with 2x2 ribbing, then continues with 2 sets of cables which put together give the impression of dripstones forming in some cave.
The cowl can be knitted in 3 sizes: close-fitting S which is perfect for women or men who don’t get along with scarves; snug M which can be worn together with your favorite jacket during cold Fall or Winter nights, and last but not least wide L which is perfect to throw over your coat.
The trapeze shape of cowl is created by using different needle sizes.
Pics showcase size M.
Cable pattern is both in charted and written format.
Gauge (after blocking): 18 sts x 19 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (4”x4”) in cable pattern worked in the round with needle 5.5 mm (US 9).
Additional gauge: 15 sts x 23 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (4”x4’) in Stockinette Stitch worked in the round with needle 5.5 mm (US 9).
