This pattern is for a beanie style hat with a leaf motif. ‘Duilleog’ is Irish for ‘leaf’. Knit in the round from the bottom up, this hat starts with a garter stitch brim, which continues up over one segment of the hat with a leaf motif on it. The rest of the hat is worked in stocking stitch.

The leaf motif is charted. Written instructions are provided as an alternative to the chart. There is a different chart for each size. When printing this pattern you only need to print pages 1 and 2 and the pages with the chart and/or written instructions relevant to the size you wish to make.
